With DC bringing back the Archie/Red Circle heroes yet again, I thought I'd reprint the origin of the Golden Age Fox, from BLUE RIBBON COMICS #4. As you can see, the Fox was created by Irwin Hasen, who also created the very similar-looking Wildcat:
And here are a few later appearances of the Fox, demonstrating his growth visually (so to speak):
